The project grows from a personal position. Before living in the UK, my understanding of Western visual culture came almost entirely through screens. Although I was never the intended audience, I realised how familiar these visual languages had already become.
The work takes form through moving image, graphic patterns, and a live performance where I become a cinema concession vendor, offering popcorn while wearing and performing the visual language being examined. It asks what happens when an outsider already knows the script.
這個項目源於我個人的經歷。在來英國生活之前，我對西方視覺文化的理解幾乎完全來自屏幕。雖然我並非這些視覺語言的目標受眾，但我意識到它們對我來說已經多麽熟悉了。
作品以動態影像、圖形圖案和現場表演的形式呈現，在表演中我扮演電影院小販，一邊售賣爆米花，一邊穿著並表演作品所探討的視覺語言。作品提出的問題是：當一個局外人已經知道劇本時，會發生什麽？
