China remains one of the few countries that upholds a household registration system—a mechanism that enforces identity-based hierarchies through national law while shaping patterns of wealth and access.Beneath this system lie three interconnected dimensions: human rights, property rights, and public services. Over time, differences in welfare between rural and urban residents have shaped the system’s distinctive character.

Lifetopia transforms this reality into a board game where six characters from three distinct regions compete for the only household registration in the city. Through the accumulation of Elite Coins and Reputation Points, players navigate power, privilege, and chance—revealing how identity and opportunity intertwine in the pursuit of belonging.

中国仍然是少数几个仍然坚持户籍制度的国家之一。户籍制度通过国家法律强制推行基于身份的等级制度，同时塑造财富和获取途径的模式。这一制度的背后，是人权、财产权和公共服务三个相互关联的维度。长期以来，城乡居民福利的差异塑造了这一制度的鲜明特征。

《人生之棋》将这一现实转化为一款桌游，六位来自三个不同地区的角色争夺城市唯一的户籍。通过积累精英币和声望点，玩家可以掌控权力、特权和机遇，从而探索归属感的追求，并揭示身份与机遇如何交织在一起。
