FIRE WORKERS FESTIVAL

工地上的火把節

In order to understand workers’ real daily lives and typical leisure activities, I conducted interviews on-site and discovered that their favorite tradition is the Torch Festival, a unique cultural celebration from Guizhou.

By integrating the rituals of the festival with the scenes of labor, I organized and held a Torch Festival event at the construction site—transforming what was once a monotonous space of work into a place filled with joy, celebration, and a renewed sense of belonging.

為了了解工人們真實的日常生活和他們典型的休閑方式，我走訪了施工現場進行采訪，發現他們最喜歡的是貴州特有的火把節。通過將節日的儀式與勞動場景相結合，我在工地上策劃並舉辦了一場屬於他們的「火把節」活動，使原本單調的勞動空間轉化為充滿歡慶與歸屬感的場所。
